Worked With

What I Make
Six kinds of work, all of it 3D animation and motion design: product films, launch campaigns, broadcast titles, interface motion, art direction, and the pipeline that delivers them.
Product films and CGI visualization
The product has to look like the real thing, often before the real thing exists. Modelling, look development, lighting, 3D animation and the final picture stay in one pair of hands.
Launch and campaign films
Launch work for Google, Microsoft, PayPal, Bose and Emirates, cut for keynote screens, product pages, retail and paid social.
Broadcast and title design
The Das Supertalent title sequence I led still opens the show on RTL, the largest network in Germany. Opening sequences for NPO Cultuur too.
UI motion and technical explainers
Interface motion on top of 3D, the way Microsoft 365, Azure and GitHub work is shown: dimensional, calm, inside the brand rules.
Art direction and 3D leadership
Direction for a team when a job needs more hands. I bring in a network of 15+ artists and hold the look across every shot.
Pipeline and delivery
Standardised Cinema 4D and Redshift parameters cut delivery time 30% across 50+ campaigns. Masters go out in the sizes each channel needs.
Selected Work
Every case study on the site. Each one opens the full story: the brief, what I led, and what shipped.

How It Runs
Four stages: scope and schedule, look frames, animation and render, then delivery. A 30-second product film takes two to four weeks from brief to master.
01
Scope and schedule
Send what you are launching and when. You get scope, a schedule and a number, usually the same week. If the date does not fit, I say so before you commit.
02
Look frames and storyboard
The look is settled in stills first: materials, lighting, camera. Cheaper to change here than in a render queue.
03
Animation, lighting, render
Cinema 4D and Redshift carry the build. You see progress at shot level, not one reveal at the end.
04
Delivery across channels
Masters and cutdowns for keynote, web, retail and social, in the aspect ratios and codecs your channels ask for.
Resume
Every role since 2014: the studio, the city, and what shipped there. The same record as the PDF, kept current here.

Working From Austin
I am in Austin, Texas, on Central Time. Kickoffs and reviews can happen in person here, and production runs the way it has for a decade: remotely, inside your team's tools.
For teams in Austin
Hardware, software and consumer brands here need the same thing the launches above needed: 3D animation of a product that reads as real on a keynote screen and on a phone. Reviews happen inside your working day, and a kickoff in person is a short drive rather than a flight.
For teams anywhere else
Remote is how I have worked for a decade, with studios in Los Angeles, Nashville, Boston, New York, London, Amsterdam, Milan and Dubai. I join your tools and your review cycle instead of asking you to join mine.
Questions
What clients ask before the first call, answered the way I would answer it on the call.
- Do you work with companies outside Austin?
- Yes, and most of the work is exactly that. The studios I work with sit in Los Angeles, Nashville, Miami, New York, Boston, London, Amsterdam, Milan, Konstanz, Istanbul and Dubai. Austin is where I am, not where the work stops.
- Can we meet in person in Austin?
- Yes. I am in Austin on Central Time, so a kickoff or a review in person is easy here, and the rest of the project runs the way remote work has run for me for a decade.
- How long does a product film take?
- Two to four weeks for a 30-second piece. Getting the look right comes first, animation through the middle, rendering at the end. Sneaker Sway took eight days on my own, and Maxon put it on the Cinebench 2026 opening screen.
- What software do you use?
- Cinema 4D and Redshift carry most of it, with Octane and X-Particles when a shot needs them, and After Effects for compositing, 2D motion and interface animation. Maxon credited me in Cinebench 2026 and put my work in the Cinema 4D Quick Start menu.
- Can you work with our agency or in-house team?
- That is how most projects run. I work inside your team rather than handing files over an agency wall: your project manager, your review cycle, your file naming. US contracts are straightforward.
- Is AI replacing this work?
- No. I use AI most weeks for trying ideas out and for the repetitive parts. It will not make a product look exactly like the real thing, keep it inside a brand’s rules, or catch what is wrong the night before it goes on air.
- How do we start?
- Email hello@selimari.com with what you are launching and when. Send the deck, the product files, the references, whatever exists. I come back with scope and a schedule, not a questionnaire.
